Default Honda Rancher 2008 - No Start | Green Light

My 2008 Honda rancher displays the green neutral light when the key is inserted and turned to the on position and the machine is in neutral. When pressing the starter button The machine won’t start or engage at all. Any ideas?

Check you haven't knocked the kill switch by accident. Assuming it isn't an Auto, does it start on the pull start? Does the green light dim when you press the start button? Do you get a click from the solenoid under the seat when you press the start button? Check the battery is charged, if it is OK, and you don't get a click from the solenoid, check you are getting power to the thin wires to the solenoid when you press the button, pos to red/yellow, neg to green. If you are, the solenoid must be faulty.

Default Fixed Issue

The red kill switch was accidentally moved to the off position and would not engage the starter. Thank you for the tip. Back up and running.
