Default Neutral safety switch

Hey all i have a Zhenjiang quad thst has a no spark issue. I bought a new harness it was missing headlight, taillight and neutral/reverse indicators wiring. Anyways would not having the neutral switch plugged into anything stop the ignition from firing? I’m pretty new to wiring and can’t seem to figure this out. Does anyone know what the readings should be for the pulse generator and rest of stator wires?

If your new harness has no provision for a neutral switch then it should work without it. These "universal" looms should only be fitted by people who are experts in motorcycle/ATV wiring. If you want to test the stator etc, take a look at the "help diagnose stator" sticky at the top of the engine problems page.
