Default 2004 Scrambler 500 electrical problem

I've got 13 + volts comin out of the battery and less than 1 volt comin out of the starter side of a new solenoid when I turn the key. Is there a fusible link on this scrambler ? I'm about to go on a hunt for this short.Service manual says check both sides of circuit breaker. I can't find one. Can anyone help me cut down the hunting time, and offer any tips? Just started pulling the plastic off. Thanks ahead of time. T.J

Sounds like a bad battery - have you load tested the battery ?

Haven't Load tested it yet. Why such a dramatic drop in voltage from 1 side of solenoid to the other? Jump started it, it fired up a minute later dash lights and headlights go out and it dies. Turn key off then back on which i assume resets breaker in ECM? Starts again only to do the same.

13.5 v off. 13.12v key on 6.3v key on lights on. If it's the battery wouldn't the charging system keep it running after I jump start it? It would run dash light cuts out and motor dies. Hey thanks for the help
