Picked up a project, they stripped the splines on the axle spur gear, so they welded it to the axle, then broke the case part that bolts on.. Anyone know where to find used parts? New ones are a little spendy? Its part 27461-05GA1

Anything else to look out for on these quads?

 

It shares some parts with the Ozark, best check what you need against both Ozark and LTZ part numbers, there may be a few Ozarks being broken, but the rear axle is a bit of a problem with them too, OK if you keep the wheel bearings in good order but a worn wheel bearing transfers strain onto axle splines and diff, causing them to fail too.

 

Thanks, surprised how hard it is to find used parts. Everything is either riding them, or scrapped them? Hope I dont destroy the brake drum, they are expensive too..
