Default 2020 Honda Rancher--First 20hr service

We bought a 2020 Honda Rancher in May of 2020. It just now has just over 20hrs, I think its about 24/25hrs on it. The dealer service dept quoted me 300.00 for the first service. Thats pretty steep. Can my husband just do the oil change on it? And whatever else needs to be checked on it? Is there a certain oil it needs?

Does sound steep, we do the first service free. Change engine oil. Any 10-40 multigrade suitable for motorcycles. Check diff oil levels front and back, EP80 gear oil. Check rear brake pivot isn't sticking. Check front brake caliper sliders actually slide, the less a bike is used, the more likely these are to stick. Check coolant level. That is about it. We don't change oil filter on a 20hr bike, nor plug, if it has done a lot of hours before the owner brings it in, we will change them. Press down button on dash, switch ignition on and wait for little spanner to disappear, that re-sets the oil change warning symbol.
