Default Polaris 700 sportsman chain came off then wont crank

My granddaughter was riding and the chain came off. After husband put the chain back on it wouldn't crank or anything. The battery is fully charged.

my husband had told me the chain fell off. After asking more questions I found out he was talking about a tow chain that was setting in the back (silly me when I hear the chain fell off I assumed it was the four wheeler chain). Evidently it fell between the seat and the back rack it must have knocked something loose but I can't see anything that looks out of place.

when you say it won't crank, does that mean it has no power and it won't turn the starter over or nothing is working like likes or anything? start with the battery to see if theres any power. if so make sure it have at least a 12.5 volts and then move on to the switch and killl switch to make sure there is good connections and both are working. make sure you have good battery connections as well.

either a connection issue, or a bad solenoid or starter
