Is the lt-80 oil pump a variable oil pump? Or does it only have one setting? Like does it only flow at one speed? Or depending on rpms does it control the flow? And is it adjustable?

 

Flow increases with revs, like any other pump. It doesn't have a link to the throttle lever, unlike a "Minarelli" clone two stroke, these alter pump flow with throttle position as well as revs.

 

yeah I have a jetski that has a throttle cable and a cable going to the pump.
So the lt-80 pump is variable by rpms. Is there any adjustment to it? Just wondering

 

Jack will know better than me but I doubt it. However you could add a bit of extra oil to the fuel to increase the amount, and no way would I try to decrease the amount of oil going into a two stroke. Better a carboned plug or exhaust than a seized engine.

 

No adjustment on the oiler.
