My 8 year old got a 90cc 4 wheeler for Christmas. I want to get something to ride around with him.
I’ma big guy: 6’4 just north of 300.
tight budget. Really looking under 2k.
there’s several options around me in the 1500-2k range. Generally mid-late 90s xplorers, sportsman, magnums anywhere from 300-500cc mostly.
Mainly riding around pastures, maybe a little in the woods, but no heavy mudding, or going through much water.
I’d really like 4x4, as I want to be able to use it ice fishing as well.
I’ve done some research, but just thought I’d ask it here. not concerned with top end speed, just want reliable and easy to start even in the cold, and something that can handle my extra-sized frame.
recommendations on what to avoid, or specifically what to look for?
