Does anyone sell battery caps?

My buddy noticed this weekend that all the caps on his battery are broken off. Its not the orignal battery so i guess he over tightened them when he install it. Can he buy new ones anywhere?

I would say go to you local auto parts store where they sell motorcycle batteries,Or the town garage where they recycle the old ones, either way they should be able to hook you up with some used caps.

I just did a battery/starter removal on my 400.

E-mail me your address and I'll put my caps in an envelope for you? Shouldn't cost more than $1.

I had some break off of my battery also. I just stopped by the Polaris shop and they had a bunch old batterys there. They just gave me a few of them.
