I am currently looking to buy a polaris atv mainly for trail riding...nothing crazy. I don't know weather to get get the two stroke trailblazer or the 4 stroke trail boss 325. They are relatively close in price but which will hold up better?

I would go with the Trailboss. The engine will hold up better in the long run, and it has a rear rack standard.

Bought a 2000 Trail Boss 3 months ago, and it is a lot of bike for the money. I bought it for my wife, but find myself riding it more often than my other quads. I had a 2 stroke Polaris at one time and it was flawless, but I never did like the smoke, smell and sound.

I can't beleive Polaris can sell the Boss for $2,995.00. I understand the price has gone up a little due to the popularity. Either way, I think you'll have a good bike. The Trail Blazer is much easier to find in this area than the Boss.

I have Trail Blazer and i have rode a Trail Boss

They are both great quads.

You couldn't go wrong with either one!

It just depends really 4 or 2 stroke?

I love how the 2 stroke works. I don't have to worry about checking or changing oil..Just pour some in the tank and go..It doesn't even use that much!

Thanks for the help. It looks like I will go with the Trail boss (less maintenance and smoother). Unfortunately it had to be ordered. I called every dealer in CT and no one has one. I am still reading everything I can and would like more opinions though.
