Hey everyone!

I bought a used and beat up 4x4, I believe it is a LT-f250. I know it is a 250, but the rest is a guess. Anyhow, it is very hard to start, and won’t idle. It’s running pretty rich. So, rebuilt the carb with a manual I found online. Nada. Tried a different carb (Chinese). Nada. Broke original carb (ouch), bought a new non Chinese carb. Nada. Same issue. Choke doesn’t seem to help, the spark plug is covered in soot (new spark plug), clean it and try again with same results. It will start with a ton of throttle, but it doesn’t want to. We adjusted the valves (they were too tight), replaced and cleaned the carb, replaced the petcock, and am dumbfounded. Any advise or help is greatly appreciated.
