2008 polaris front diff not working

2008 polaris front diff not working
I have a 2008 Sportsman 500 with the 4x4 not working. It has ADC option. I am getting 12v power between the ground and one of the 2 middle wires going to the front diff (sorry I can't remember what color off hand) I have measured the resistance between the 2 center wires on that plug from the diff with the connector disconnected. From what I read it should be 22.8 ohms to 25.2 ohms. I am only getting .04 ohms. Is this something that happens often? What are my options to keep things reasonably cheap for a 15 year old machine. I see there are some aftermarket diffs on ebay but from what I see they do not have anything for ADC. can you buy an aftermarket cover for that diff? thanks for all your great advice!!
If I understand correctly the 2007-2009 front diffs were overly complicated and prone to failure. If I was to look for a non-ADC front diff to replace this with then what part numbers should I be looking for? thank you
