You may want to check out the Warn 2500. It will cost about $60 -70 more but you get the roller fairlead and the really NICE remote control. I can't remember where I ordered mine but I paid $330 to my door for the 2500 about 6 months ago.

I have a 2000# on my sp500 and it came with the roller fairlead, but the 2500# may be worth looking into only for the fact it is a pain in the keester to mount the big control switch for the 2000#. There isn't any real convenient place for a switch that big and still be able to get to it from the seat, so the remote switch on the 2500# would be very nice. I got mine from chopper bill through the forum here for less than $250 but I don't know if he can do that price any more and he also got me bumpers for both my riggs. I think his e-mail is chopperbill@home.com

I mounted the switch on the wife's 335 on the left handlebar, This was after I put mine on the left fender on my 500. With hers being there its not in the way and you dont have to lean around the bars to use it.

I to would have to suggest the 2500 warn. I have a 2000 and some times it seems like it is just about to run out of power(that may also be due to the fact that my batt. is weak). Also now that I think about it a remote switch would be nice. One place i ride i have a 20 yard long muddy ditch you have to ride through and right at the end is where everyone gets stuck tring to get up the side, so i pull out the winch cable and hook to a tree, then trying to get to my rotary switch on the left side of my quad when i am on the right side can be hard and have almost rolled my quad numerous times just trying to reach the switch and pull myself out.

i have the 2000 on my sp500 and i love it but i have to agree with the group that the switch is really dumb. i am going to purchase the rocker switch that is avail. through cabelas mag. it seems nice enough and will sit right on the handle bar.

Snowdowg, you better check closer to the rocker switch in Cablas. I think it's for the Super Wench. I think the only way you can change over to a rocker switch, is if you buy the Warn 2000 upgrade to a 2500. If anybody knows different, let me know. I'd love to get rid of the one on my front rack.

Dennis Kirk has the 2500# upgrade kit for $189.99 and a new rocker switch for the 2000 @ $41.99. Super winch went to a rocker a few years ago, and they pop like popcorn. Don't forget that you are drawing 145 amps at 2000# pull with your warn! You need heavy duty contacts to handle that load. If you buy 3 more warn replacement solenoids @ $21.99 each, and use youe existing power solenoid that came with your winch, you can make a winch control that functions in the same manner as the contactor for the 2500. You only need to wire the load sides of the solenoids with 8 AWG wire and buy an SPDT momentary switch at Radio Shack, which can be used to control the input (coil side) of the solenoid. I have the upgrade kit, and Warn has you disconnect the power solenoid that came with the 2000. Just another option. Good luck.
