I've put in a new clutch cable and a new clutch in my wifes 1997 TRX300ex, and have both adjustments (on the lever and down behind the motor) adjusted all the way and the clutch just starts to engage when the lever is about 1/2 to 2/3 the way out. Seems like it should be able to adjust it so the clutch starts to engage as soon as the clutch lever almost comes off the grip. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix or update for this? It may be time to buy her a 400ex....

Adjust the one behind the engine about half or all the way over towards the other side. Don't sell a good quad because of a little misadjustment.

As I stated in my original post, both adjustments have been adjusted, the one on the bars and the one down behind the motor. I wouldn't sell it just because of the clutch, but it's almost time for the wife to step up to something that has a little more bottom end and top speed.

Yes I Know you stated that they were both adjusted!
Can't you ****ing adjust the one on the engine the other way. I think so.
