Polaris needs some competion now! No longer is the 500HO king, witha 650, and a 660 w/ IRS, the new griz is sure to be a great machine. I was going to pick up my Sportsman this friday, but now they do this to me! Arggh! When do you think they'll hit the dealers? I need to ride them, bad. What do you guys think?

I'm going to be getting rid of my SP500 and getting the new Grizzly, It has everything the SP500 has and more. What I will miss is the street legal plates on my polaris but I guess I can jump throught the hoops again and street legal the Grizzly. I wonder when the 2002 Polaris line-up will hit the net, anyone know?

You guys are nuts! All you think about is, how big an engine can you get... Is it, to be the biggest or because you're so fat you can't get off when stuck in mud??? I hear Tonka, is coming out with a 1000cc soon to be at your neighborhood K-Mart. Get ready, set,GO!
Yes, I don't even own a quad. Not one you would have anyway... Got no engine...

I agree, they better get moving!!! Th Griz looks very good alng with the Prairie. I am looking to buy a new machine this year, and I want Polaris, but the riz and the 650 are pretty much a Polaris, but better, so far. I really hope the SP 700 comes out soon. I know one thing, if the yamaha doesn't pove itself, I will still be yamahahahaahahaha 'en. Never had anything Yamaha that was worth a s#%t, but maybe they have something here.
HURRY UP POLARIS!!!!

I looked at photo's of the new Grizz. This machine is without doubt the best looking stock ATV ever made and it has all the goodies with it too.I hate to say this because I really was planning on keeping the Xplorer a few more years, but if I go into the showroom floor and see the new Grizz,it would tempt me to jump ship?IRS,true 4x4,12 inches of ground clearance, liquid cooled,no no no,I AINT GOING TO DO IT![sure is tempting]

did anyone notice how one the first page for the new grizzly the stats are a little lower then one the specs page. Like the suspension travel is 6.6" and 8.8" and on the specs it is 7.1" and 9.5" and the ground clearance is 10.8" and on the specs it's 11.8" seems alittle srange to me

Yahoo!! Go 3TV !! Since I've been riding the DS the H.O. has been strictly work and loaner, so as impressed as I am with the new Grizz, I have not considered seriously getting one.
Then, another friend comes along and wants the H.O. What's a fella do when he talks that way ,, spit in his eye? I'm just a boy who likes new toys, ridin's my favorite thing, with or without the warranty, I'm in a quad tradin' mood. Everytime I see a hot new quad, I get the funny feelin' that it's mine, and because I keep 'em real nice, my old quad's trade-in value's gonna shine! I Ccaaann't
Sssaaaayyyy Nnnnooooo.
He-He. I want one. And a Raptorette for my 4 year old. They won't be out till November, just in time for X-mas. I know it's just a reskinned Badger, but we don't need no stinkin' Badgers!
Boy I'm crackin' myself up tonight!! It sure would be weird to not have any Polarises any more. We've gone through 5 in two years.
Skyler was looking at the Grizz on the Yamaha site and said to me,
"Dad, I don't see a sway bar, what if it's like the Arctic Cat was?"
Smart kid huh? A test ride, some riding impressions, even a shoot-out is called for. None of that pig in a poke stuff right?
But as hot as the new Grizz surely is, it can't replace the super-sonic rush of the DS for me. It looks like it will surpass the H.O. especially in the power department, and I have three friends in particular that absolutely need this quad, whether they know it yet or not.

I'll say Polaris unveils their machine by fall. They just waited for everyone else to up the ante so they can outdo the competition just a little bit. That Grizzly sounds great, but I'll wait a couple of months and get the new King.
