Best chain/brake skid plate
#1
What brand chain and brake rotor skid plate fits the best? I have a Lakota and cannot afford to lose any ground clearance. I want the toughest guard with the most ground clearance.
So far I was considering Moose and DG.
Thanks

I have the DG on my 98 Lakota,it has over 6,000 punnishing miles and has held up very well.I have had it bend twice on a very hard hit with a large boulder.Took it off , put it in a vise and it was bent back straight with no problems. If you do bend Aluminum be very carefull not to stress crack it.

I'm not sure if the Armadillo will fit, but it is a nice skid plate. I have one on my Mojave. It does rob you of some ground clearance though.
2000 Mojave
Maier hand guards
Kawasaki shock covers
K&N filter and Jet Kit
Armidillo front bumper and swing arm skid plate
Douglas .190 wheels
20-11-10 Shredder rears, Kenda Front Max for steering

ron11199,
How does your DG skid plate fit? Is it close to the rotor and chain similar to the stock skid plate/chain guard? The stock one doesn't give up much ground clearance , but just seems to bend too much into the rotor and my chain .
