Just got my rancher not more than three weeks ago, took it up north to go riding and the carb started overflowing with gas as soon as i turned on the gas. Called up the dealer and they said there must be dirt sticking the float valve but i checked the carb and it was clean. So i took it in to the dealer and he said he found a small piece of brass stuck in the float valve??? Honda covered it under warranty but anybody else have problems like this with their rancher?

How could anyone else have this problem? It was probably the nose-ring stud off of the guy who assembled your machine !

Actually when they're making the carburetor the press some of the small parts (brass) into the carb with a machine, and it was just a sliver of brass that musta been from that process somehow. SO it is entirely possible that this happened to somebody else as well.
