I got an update from IMS on the new DS650 gas tank they are making. They are still working on the mold and should have a availability date in the first week in August or a better idea when it will be ready. It takes time to make one mold and if you due not get it right you have a $100.000.00 paper weight.

Just got an e-mail from IMS the mold is done and the tanks should ship late this week or next week [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

More delays on the first run of the gas tank mold got damaged. The repairs will take about one more week. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

At least they are getting 'close' to having a tank ready. If they keep going at this rate, we'll have already killed Osama Ben Laden (SP?) before they release the high capacity tank.
