Sunk my 220 in water over two years ago and still haven't had a problem with starter.

Just asking because I have heard a lot of people asking about how to fix the problem, so I made a page with a procedure to fix it.

Mine broke twice, once it was the wiring harness, but that was not my fault, then the second time, i sunk it in a river and the starter selenoid went bad
