I have a 97 Timberwolf and would like to know what you people think about the NEW Recon?What has more power a better ride ect............?????

 

Not sure about the ride, but the Honda Recon has a lot more power than a T-Wolf.

Maybe you don't know about it or maybe you don't like Polaris quads, but they have a new Explorer 250 out. It's suppossed to be cheaper & more powerful than both of the quads you mentioned. If you are not oppossed to an auto it might be worth checking out.

I also have a 97 Timberwolf and I rode with a Recon once and it definately had more power and was faster than the Timberwolf.

Timberwolf,keep in mind that the 250 Explorer is a 2 stroke not a 4 stroke like the Timberwolf and Recon.

 

Recon is faster, more powerful, more reliable, better engine, suspension,etc.etc.etc.

 

There's also the Polaris Trailboss 325, Xpedition 325 if you want to shift, Kawasaki Bayou 220, Kawasaki Prairie 300s, Yamaha Beartracker which isn't much better than a t-wolf, Honda Rancher 350's, Suzuki 250 (which is too much utility), and Arctic Cat 250 and 300's. check those out also. What do you do with your machine? What do you need one to do? What terrain do you ride on?
