O.K. guys I need a good steel whip for riding in the dunes. There used to be a company that made a "Q-Whip" but I can't find it anywhere. If you have some good setups that don't need to be thrown away if you break them please list them and where they can be purchased.

Sand Lake Grocery store between $30 and $40 for steel whips...
A quarter wave CB antenna(108"
(steel) will work too if you can get material to make the flag itself...Heat the very tip of the antenna, bend it over in a loop. JB weld a wire loop for the lower. Put some grommets in the flag material, wire or clip it up. Get one of gggrrrr---Cascades----quick change flag holders with the steel whip adapter...there ya go...

Beaverton Honda had Q-whips last year 503 684-6600.
They are manufactured by Southern Motorcycle supply in San Diego, 858 560-5005. They could locate a dealer for you.
But Q whip retainer sleeves pull off on wooded trails. We flattened the tip, drilled it, and put cotter pins in 'em. No probs since.
