edelbrock carb for the warrior?

Has anyone used edelbrock quicksilver carb on there warrior and was there a noticeable performance gain? And if there was , is it in the lower or higher rpm ranges and did it inprove throttle responce? Any help much appreceated.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

ya my buddy just got a edelbrock and it gives nice gains all threw the ranges but it peaks at higher rpms the throttle got stiffer but it improves response a noticable amount i think it worth it

Default edelbrock carb for the warrior?

Works great!!! You will have lightning throttle response, and quite a bit more acceleration all around. Your rev limit will be increased, but you will have to grind the backstop down a little to achieve full throttle. The carb is larger and it will need more distance to fully open, and the lever will be stiffer. I heard they now offer a less tense spring to fix it a little, or you can just use a lever extender. Your powerband will be shifted more to the midrange quite a bit, and with a full exhaust you will see plenty more top end to go with it.
