I think yamaha should put the YZ250F motor in a light, 300ex size frame. Think about it, a 250cc, five titanium valved four-stroke that makes 33 horsepower and revs all the way to 13,500 RPM's. Even if they detune it by 5 horsepower it would still have way more power than the blaster, 300ex, and mojave. It would be an awesome trail bike and even better race bike considering what it would be going up against. It would be big enough for everyone to rip on, but small enough for beginners.

I have thought the same thing. The only problem I see with it is it would be on the expensive size for that size of a quad if it was built to match the motor.
