Charging Battery on ATC 250ES

Does anyone have any instuctions for charging the battery on a ATC250ES? Is it best to remove the postivie cable to charge the battery while it is in the bike or is it good enough to just turn the ignition switch off?

You can charge your battery as it is without removing or disconnecting anything, but do leave the ignition switch off.
Charge your battery with a charger that has a "trickle charge" or a 2 amp setting only. Charge it for at least two hours and then charge till it shows fully charged.
