Has anyone moved the battery on a lakota so you can run a sand tire without spacers.I can't find a sand tire under 12in.I don't mind the spacers, but there a pain to change when i ride the trails. They don't look like they would hold up very good on rough trails or big jumps. All I need is a 1/2 to 1in more room. ANY SUGGESTIONS???????

I have moved my battery under the seat. I had to make a battery box and a longer rear caliper bracket. No tire interference problems now.

I haven't done it yet, but I took a real good look and made some drawings.
I tried to understand 98lakotas way and believe he put it behind the rear shock. The way I was looking at it was putting it forward of the rear shock, both ways I believe would work.
If you eliminated the air box and went with a clamp on filter you would have plenty of room, but I don't want to go that route just thought I'd throw it out there.
