I just got off the phone to find out what happend to my airbox...i called about a week and a half ago. i told the this guy who was chewing gum in my ear the whole time that i needed it 3 day UPS. well here it is a week and a half later and i still dont have the airbox. not only that but they didn't even have my name in the computer. then i said that i need this by tommorow and the dude is like "well i don't think you would want to pay overnight shipping on that" i was like why should i pay..you should be the ones paying..after making me wait and now i find out that you never even put my order through..so the guy starts taking my ifno again..and im like dude dont bother..

so if you want to deal with some very unprofessional people do business with Pingry. They just lost my biz and my future biz and i will make sure to tell all my buddies i go riding with as well.

does anyone have any recomendations for another airbox?

I've looked at their remote oil tanks for the dry sump engines (ala Raptor and 400EX), and talk about no actual engineering put into them. They just took some tubes and punched them throught their box tank design. If they had their heads screwed on right they would at least use some finned extrusions for the tubes, even if they don't do any heat transfer calculations, that is just common sense...

Then I saw a picture of the guys (Pingrys) in Dirtwheels or ATVaction and that explained it all...

...joeyd, I can totally see where you are coming from. I had the same impression of these guys just after reading a write-up on one of their products...

Just modify your airbox with a pro flow kit, it's less than half the cost of a new airbox, not to mention you have to buy another K&N. If that's not the route you want to take, CT racing offers an aluminum airbox. I think it takes a 250r K&N filter which, if true, would be a lot cheaper than paying $60-80 for a new pro flow K&N.

Try Denton talk to Nick he was a big help. My airbox is real nice, it has the tabs on it so you can mount an airbox outerware and it uses a 250r style filter. I paid 170 for it and ordered it overnight delivery...It came at 9:30am and woke me up. Great place IMHO!
