My father just found a very lightly used 2000 prairie 300(4x4) with only 180 miles on it. We right now own a 01' AC 400(4x4) and it an awsome machine, takes ya anywhere! I want to know if the prairie is worth getting and will it do what the AC can do? We do mostly work around the cabin (cut trees, pull a utility trailor) and hunt, and a lot of recreational trail riding. At first i was worried about the 300cc motor, but im really notr sure. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanx Ryan

Ps. what is a estimated top speed for this machine? I know that the AC is very slow, that is the only down side to it.

 

how much do they want for it? i have a '99 prairie 300 4x2, and it will go through most mud you throw at it, have had no problems yet w/ it, and it will pull almost anything. i have gotten it up to 48 mph, and i think that is pretty good. what does your a/c do tops?
