95 400 tranny in 98 250?

see my posting re: scrambler 500 4x4 breeds with explorer 400.
then go to your dealer and see if the part number for your trany on the 98 250 is the same as 2000 500 4x4 (i'm assuming you are 4x4. Then see if the numbers are the same on a 95 400 explorer as a 2000 4x4 explorer and if they are, bingo your a winner. As my posting said it can be done with a little know how; and don't forget the money. mine is running now for the past year without a flaw.
