Ill be on my first trip to the Pink Corals around memorial day, and just had a couple questions for those of you who have been there. Whats the camping situation? Is it just go and set up camp, or are there reservations/rules to get in... And hows the weather around that time?? Thanks in advance for any info. I cant wait to go, and let me know if any of you are also planning a trip that weekend.

The weather should be in the 80 to 90 range. as for camping you have your pick of 3 campsites. first is state run with a fee to get in, very nice campground but it could be crowed. second is the meadow, it is north of the state campground by about 3 miles. you cant miss it, no shade or bathrooms or concrete like the state but also no fee. Third is the ponderosa. lots of tree's could be crowed but it is at the north end of the dunes so you have to ride south on the dunes to get to the heart of them. hope this helps, let me know if you have any more ques.
