Hi,

I have a buddy with a 97 425 Magnum,and the belt cover has been worn out on top,from the belt rubbing,and his kids stepping on it a lot. The problem is this - the dealer wants 215 bucks for a replacement plastic cover,this seems really steep for something like that !! The deal also said now they make a metal cover,but that runs something like 430 bucks!!! Are these realistic prices? can you guys give me any info to pass along to him,like cheaper places to get it,or an aftermarket,stronger cover? Thanks for any help.

 

I bought one from polaris powersports, cost around $100. BUT, it took forever for them to ship it.
