Reeds on a 2 stroke

How do you change them. They are located under the carb correct? My sons 90cc quad needs the reeds changed and I figure with a little help I can do it. Any suggestions on how to do it??

how do you know that it needs reeds its a 01 i cant see it needing reeds yet . but to do it just pull the carb off should be 4 bolts pull them out and clean the old gasket off and replace reeds new gaskets are a must put them on dry (no silcone) run the bolts in tighten down put carb back on and good to go . hope i helped

I agree but the dealer said they are having problems with them and the symptoms I described he said sounds like the reeds. Thanks for the help!
