Info on '03 Cannondale's
#1
I sent an E-mail yesterday asking some more on the '03's especially the Glamis. And with an awsome turn around time I got a response back bright and early here on the west coast this morning saying that all the info on the '03's will be on the C'dale web site in the next month...just thought ya'll might like to have a time frame on your waiting Tom

The Cannondale rep paid us a visit yesterday and gave us pictures and info on the new models.
Cannibal
Special LE edition that is only available for the month of June. This is the "Patriot" model.
Black with Silver "trim" .......or.....Gray with Blue "trim"
STEEL wheels!!!
5 pounds LESS than the 2002 models.....even with the steel wheels!!!
Same MSRP as 2002 models
SPEED
Yellow with a nice looking black "checkerflag thing" going. Veeeeery nice
Reduced weight[Can't remember the exact figure right now]
Same MSRP as the 2002 models
Glamis
Based on the SPEED model
Mapping for power in the upper RPMs
Wider axle
Longer A-arms
Geared for top speed
MSRP of 8499
Blaze
Same near as I can tell except for reduced weight.
Moto
Same here also except for reduced weight.
These 2003 quads will arrive in dealers as early as September. The Cannibal LE models will arrive this month. Some dealers have already gotten them from what I have read here. We have two coming in two weeks.
There are also new dirtbikes...including 3 versions of the E440....One of which has the "Rev-Loc" clutch....standard!!!!!!!!!
I am thinking of adding the Rev-Loc to my Cannibal now that they have one available.
I will be sure to bring the info home with me tomorrow to give further details and to correct anything here that I may have been incorrect on.
Cannondale says that it has implemented over 150 changes on both the bikes and quads for the 2003 model year!!!! I will post the speciffics tomorrow night unless someone else does otherwise between now and then.
By the way..I had originally posted a 15 pound weight reduction on the 2003 Cannibal. The correct figure is 5 pounds for the Cannibal and 15 for the Blaze and Moto.....Thanks Lewis for making me aware of the "goof".

Thanks KNOWSALOT do you know when they'll be in showroom floors cause Im starting to like the C-dales now and one more thing have you ever raced a stock Banshee or Raptor and if so which did you beat or was it neck and neck

the"c"is quicker than both in short drag races(1/8 mile or less)
but the shees twin and the raptors displacement will eventually catch it if they have enough room to run them out to top speed
hope this helps...
