14mins,
It converts the manual clutch into an autoclutch similar to what the utility quads run BUT you still have use of the manual clutch IF you prefer to.Best of both worlds with one clutch!!!
It was introduced to the dirtbike world about 6 months ago and are popping up in the GNCCs everywhere.
It completly eliminates ANY chance of stalling the engine regardless of the situation. The dirtbikes with a peaky powerband run them in the woods to eliminate arm pump, clutch wear, stalling and run much quicker lap times.
The Rev-Loc completly replaces the clutch basket and clutchpack.
I tried finding a link to Rev-Loc that would explain this better than i but couldn't find one.
I did find a link to DirtBike magazine that tested one on a DRZ400 but it doesn't explain in detail what the clutch does....here it is anyway, if you want to look.DRZ400 with Rev-Loc

Hey Knowsalot I have a couple of ?'s for you I apologize if any are foolish.
1. Don't a lot of guys that sink a lot of money into a 440ex get from 45 to 48 hp to the ground?
2. Don't YZ 426 quads with all the mods like Tim Farr's get 50+hp to the ground?
3. Does this leave the Dales like the moto which is supposed to get around 40hp to the ground underpowered?
4. If the above is true how does Cannondale/the "race crowd" feel about this considering that 40 or 41hp is the max do to the limited ability to "mod out" the dales?
I'm not nockin' the Dales I would have bought one if I could have afforded it and my main hombre' SparkyEX rides a Cannibal. I'm just curious.

Knowsalot,
Let me get this one.
As a former owner of a 400EX I did lots of research on the 440 and plus kits.
1. The 45-48 HP to the ground. That's a tough one the bigger question is how long do you want it to last. When you do that you are putting a high comp piston in and the CASE has a tendancy to crack. (confirmed by Sparks and Other). To get more power to the ground you will also spend more than just buying a New Cannondale, Plus Shocks, Plus Axle, Plus, Plus, Plus.
2. Money better not be an object. If you have over $20,000 laying around for this CUSTOM QUAD, go nuts and get it. I can be competitive at $12,000. That $8,000 more for BEER.
3. Power only will not win on a MX course. Give me the most HP QUAD avalible and TIM FARR a 300EX and I'm sure I would lose. Power is not the only factor in a MX race.
4. See Answer #3.
Good Questions.
Just my thoughts.

Knowsalot- Thanks, that sounds cool.
Dirtdiggler- A good friend of mine just had a custom build lonestar to the max crf450 built, custom axis yda, yda, yda. It cost him 15,000 complete. It pays to shop around. I know that a lot of people claim stuff cost more that it does. Sometimes a shop will make you a heck of a deal. If i was going the national route a moto440 would be on the trailer. If more power was needed i am sure my checkbook would convice harry at trinity to look into the future. I am sure 3000 would find you another 7-10 hp.
