Waynoka in July
#1
I was thinking of going to Waynoka for the 4th and was wondering how hot it is there in July. It's pretty hot here at the dunes here in Texas. I checked the weather for the week and it shows not to be to bad. Anyone been to Little Sahara in July? I appreciate any replys given.

Weather forcasts are for upper 90's in the daytime & lower 70's at night.
I ride up there in hot weather all the time, Usually it's hotter in camp than the dunes. As long as you keep moving drink a lot of water, take some breaks in the shade you can run in the day without any problems.
At night is when it gets fun!! It's much cooler & you can ride all night in comfort.
Get some extra lights (I got my Trail Techs just for Sahara) & play all night & a little at a time in the daytime & have a blast!!
Yes it will be crowded!! probably 1500+ people. That's why we go on the off weekends (but there are still a couple hunderd people there on an off weekend)!!
