Yesterday while riding my Grizz, it started to idle at half throttle. I was going maybe 50mph and let off of the throttle and it kept going on its own at about 30mph. I shut it off to see what was going on. I opened up my air box to check it out and I realized that part of that filter that acts as a gasket between the air box and air filter was gone! I couldn't find it anywhere, and I am sure that it was sucked into the engine. Finally after playing with the carb a little it released and then the Grizz started to idle o.k. I rode it the rest of the day without any problems. Is there anything that I should do? Does something like this cause any damage to the piston or cylinder? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

?!?!?!?!?!

If sand or dirt will screw up an engine, i am SURE that the foamrubber gasket that seals the airfiliter will! Did you find it? It couldnt have went to far.... Have you taken the carb apart? I dont know how that thing would make it to the piston....unless the gas disolved it. If that is even possibe, i would say that you better start cleaning your fuel supply out.

There has to be someone on this FORUM with more info than me....
