what was the first yamaha atc ever made and what year

sounds about right. we had a yellow 3wheeler that was 125 and 2stroke, but oil injected, if I remember correctly. My dad said he loved it because it was soo much faster then the 110 Honda's [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Then in 84 (?) him and a bunch of his State Police buds bought about 5 of the new Moto4's... so basically, we were the first people in our town to have 4wheelers [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

The 1980 YT125 two stroke was Yamaha's first ATV.

The YT175 two stroke came in 1982.

Yamaha made the 200cc four stroke in 1983. That same engine has evolved into the engine that Yamaha uses in the BearTracker 250.
