traxter down- starter sol. getting 4.9v

Traxter will not start.The solinoid is getting between 2.7-4.9v.Checked wiring harness for obvious damage.Crossing off solinoid starts bike.Also checked all plugs for corosion.

mtour,

was it a gradual problem or did it appear suddenly? How does it run after you cross-off the solinoid?
