Hey guys, I just removed the stock rear axle off my Speed and I will be installing a Durablue tomorrow. My question is, how do you get the sprocket hub off the stock axle? Do I need to remove the clip while the hub is still on or press it off in the other direction? I don't want to attempt the 2x4 and hammer drill. Any help is appreciated.

I had the same problem. I sent the dura-blue back and got the Lone star which already has the sprocket hub on it. I got it from Dentons and it was only $319. The Lone star is a much better axle. I took my stock axle to a machine shop to have it pressed off and they had problems and ended up scratching it all up. I know you don't want to hear this but the fit of the Lone star is much better.

You're right I didn't want to hear that. I took it to my buddies shop so he could press it off and he scarred up the hub. I'm gonna have to heat it up first then press it off. Hope it works.
