yeah i was wondering what tires in the winter you people run.

 

Maxxis has a new tire designed specifically for snow. I believe the name is 4-Snow. Check their website.

 

For ice racing here we use what we call "wedgies". They are actually Pro Wedges. They are a cheap brand tire and work awesome. They are designed like a sand paddle only with a lot shallower cup. Pulling wheelies on the ice unstudded is awesome. Ive also heard of the new Maxxis ones and I think that im going to try it this winter.
