On rear aluminum hub on a 2000 Sportsman 500 there is a grease zerk going right in to the hub. My question is what type of grease do I use Polaris al season grease or Polaris U-joint grease? also how many pumps do I give it? does it oooz out any where?

THANKS

I think you can just use the same grease as the rest of the suspension. But I could be wrong. Come to think of it, I don't remember where the excess comes out.

Yes,you will see it come out,the only one they say to worry about is the drive-shaft.Give it 3 pumps and thats it.

Two pumps should suffice.

The greese comes out the bushing right over top of it.
The cv has no grease fittings.
