Default Lift kit for 250/300

Just installed the MOOSE lift kit for the 250/300 on my 3004x4. It looks like it has rised it about 1.5 to 2.0 in. Part# is MUDALK02. Cost was 78.95. Looks like a quality part.

Where did you buy the kit from?
How long did it take you to put it in?
Have you had the quad out and if so how did it hold up?
Got any pics of the mod?

Default Lift kit for 250/300

I got the kit from my Arctic Cat dealer, but I suspect he orderd it from one of his aftermarket supplyers. I had it out today and it did real good. Took about 1 hour to put on. It goes on each of the upper shock mounts and lowers the top bolt of the shock about 1 in.Sorry I don"t have any pics. of any of my mod as I am new to this computer thing and I am not lerning very fast.

Default Lift kit for 250/300

I know this is an old thread and I didn't want to start another one so I'll post my question here. I have an 03 250 and want a little bit more ground clearance. Every site I've found does not have a lift kit for the 2003 250, but some have them for the 300's. What's the difference between the 250 and 300? I didn't think there was any. So my question to all of you is, where can I find a lift for my 2003 250? Will a kit for the 2003 300 work? TIA for the help.

lownrangr, I also have the Moose lift kit on my 2001 AC 250 and it was easy to install and has worked fine for the last seven or eight months. There is no difference between the 250 and 300. The suspension and drive trains are identical, the difference is the crank, piston, rod, jug and head. So if it fits a 300 it will fit a 250 and vice-a-versa.

Yes, I agree as to the 250 & 300 being the same, at least they were in 2001. Ill bet they still are. My lift kit has done very well. I didnt realize it had been so long since I put it on. Time gets away. Good luck with yours.

The way to check is to go to the following link and compare part numbers between the 250 and 300 for whartever year you have. If the numbers match then the parts for one will fit the other.
