What could my problem be?

I have bought new spark plugs, but they dont fire in or out of my head. I figure that it is the coil or some wires not connected.If thats not it what could it be and what should i do about it.Please help, I am supposed to go riding Friday, but i have to get it running.It turns over, but it just doesent fire.Any help would be appreciated.

 

is there any spark? any copression, what kind of quad?

 

400ex,no spark in the plug.

i cant get mine started either. same problem, except i haven't gotten the chance to take the plug out yet. its definately not firing inside the head. im gonna get a new plug and see if it makes any diference.

 

you might have a faulty cdi, do the headlights/nuetral indicator come on?

 

...there goes honda's rock solid reliability.....j/k lol But seriously, have you checked your fuses? Could be as simple as that. Trace all your wires too. Good luck.

 

A friend of mine had the same problem there is a fuse close to the battery check that his was blown when we changed it, it fired right up.

 

Yea the neutral light and only one of the front lights work.Is the CDI the same thing as the rev box?If it is, it has a White Bros rev box.Would I have to replace it or do what to it?

 

the coiils almost never fail on atv's...check fuses and then make your way to elec test on cdi box
