On 12/4/02 . Because We Were Going on vacation & Riding 12/19/02 . They E-mailed me this Conformation on 12/4/02. Well I Have Been Waiting. thinking the parts were coming anyday. Well I got tiered of waiting Called Them On Mon. 12/16/02 wanting to know where my parts were. They Told Me They were Not Shipped Yet . That The A-arm Was Back ordered. And They Would Get It On Wen 12/18/02. Then ship everything then. Well that was to late So Asked Them To Cancel the Order. They Told Me To call Back The Next Day And Talk to Ted. He was only 1 who does the canceling for Internet order.Well I was Out of town on Tues. so I call them Wen. First Thing and talk to Ted. He said they shipped everything but the A-arm Yesterday. And If I Sent the parts back since they were ship there is a Restocking Fee Of 35% of the order.
Which Is 46.87. Well I Feel That When I Ordered The Parts On The 12/4/02 If They were back ordered They Should Of Ether E-mailed Me Or Called Me And told me. They Were Back Ordered. So I had a chance To Get the Parts Some where else. That’s How These Companies Make Money. So Beware of buying Parts From This Company and other companies like this. You could be waiting a long time . Sorry About Venting But I am Pissed. Thank you Nick

 

Thanks for letting people know about your misfortune, they sound very shady for having shipped after you asked them to cancel and only part of the order at that!

Hopefully you paid with credit card, you can call them and get a chargeback, since technically you havent received anything yet, then when ups comes just deny the shipment if possible or return it unopened. credit card companies dont take any chit.

 

I always ask if it is in stock before ordering. If not I will go elsewhere to order my stuff or at least know what the wait will be before handing out the Credit card info.

I posted on a message board last Oct looking for headers for my truck. A guy e-mailed me saying he had them. I called his "business" called FPX in Soddy Daisy, TN and talked to him about them. They were supposed to be in stock and would ship when he recieved payment. At the time, I didn't have a Credit card and my debit card would only allow $400 daily to be removed from my account so it wouldn't cover the $545 bill. I mailed a check which was cashed on Dec 6th. I haven't recieved my parts and he won't return my money. Now he says he never offered a 2" header for this truck. I have heard every excuse including:
Backordered
Computer problems
New computer system
They were boxed up but not enough personel to label it (no joke)
and many many others

Now he is facing felony charges if he doesn't return my money. He said he would return it but I must send him a certified letter requesting it back. It has been a wake up call.

 

The way to avoid these problems is to find out if they are an authorized dealer! We sell tons of parts and accessories on the net with appx a 7 day turn on parts and if you ask we can check the part to make sure its not on backorder, but you must ask!
