help rmoving ding in rim

Default help rmoving ding in rim

just wanting to get any opinions on removing a pretty bad ding on my brand new wheels. I've gone on one ride and my douglas .190's have a huge ding on the outside. any suggestions?

.190s dinged, ummmmm try a rubber hammer, it works on .125s.

see if you can find a company that fixes aluminumrim for cars and i would think that they would be able to fix a atv rim, i dont know how much it would cost but im sure its would be cheaper them buying a new rim

short piece of a 2x4 and hammer. slowly pound on the outter corners and work back and forth til you can live with it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I used a peice of 2x4 and rounded the corners a little. while on the tire I had to strike it prety hard. I took the tire off the rim and it whent a lot better. The tire didn't absorb the shock needed to bend. Good luck.
