Im going to change oil and filter in my dads 2000 Mag 500 tomorrow.
How much oil will I need?

how has your dads magnum 500 4x4 been holdin up??? i like mine alot and they are very reliable, i think, (more than the sp 500's) anyways...well thats all i was wondering,.......yep it holds 2 quarts of Polaris syn 0W-40 oil.........(dont buy the other brands) savin a buck aint worth it!!!!!!! that oil is designed for polaris engines......anyways remember to get the oil out of the crank case as well.....

Its held but GREAT!
The day he got it,one of the coolent hoses melted because it was touching the exhaust pipe but other than that he hasnt had a single problem...nothing.
We havent even had to put brake pads on it yet.
Dad is getting close to 60 so he doesnt ride it hard but after 800 miles it still runs and rides like new.
