cuting front plastic into race cut?

A jig saw with a plastic cutting blade works well.
Draw it out,cut it,
then you can take one of those sanding sponges(fine grit of course)
and run it along the cut.
It's not hard at all.

Use a dremel. That is the best thing to use. Mark with marker where you want to cut, tape along line with masking tape and use a steady hand. Do not use a Jigsaw. It will not cut as good and smooth plus you cant make sharp curves without breaking the blade. If you have any questions ask TALONHAWK. He has a highly modded bike with custom cut plastics and graphics. It looks awsome. Good luck!!!

I cut a lot of plastic off my trail boss. First thing you need to do is find a look that you want it's endless when cutting plastic but you can't start over once you have cut it.
I used a dremal with a carbide bit, yes a jigsaw would be a much better choice because a dremal spins and it will "crawl" and make a un-even cut. Jigsaw's cut in a much more straight line that makes for less sanding work later. I followed my dremal with a 1x4 as a flat surface and 100g paper stapled to it, gradually work your way up on the grit of paper (100,220,320,600) to round edges take a razor blade and hole it upright and scrape it along your sharp edges it really takes off a lot of material. To make it look factory and get smooth edges you need to wet sand with 1000g. Get hot water and put a little soap in it as lube and sand your edges they will be so smooth they will shine, everything you need can be bought at a hardware store. Good luck

Me and scramblered6910 used a dremel and it turned out good for us. Just remember to pick a design or cut that you will like, cause there isn't any going back once its cut.

Whatever tool you use just make sure that you cut just alittle on the
outside of your marks. You can then use a rasp for removing alot of
plastic or fine tooth file to remove the rough edges. 200 grit sandpaper
is great for rounding off the flat edges that your cutting tool usually
leaves behind. If you use a jigsaw use one that is a variable speed
jigsaw. Its easier to control.
Take your time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have access to air tools they are the way to go 100% over electric you control everything they do and they have infinate number of speeds if you get off track just let off where you have to find the switch on electric. You know what I mean if you have both electic and air dremals. If you can't get access to air electric will do just fine you just have to be careful
