Default 600 or 700 brush guard

I am looking for a brush guard to protect the radiator on my 600. I have a winch in the front bumper now. I havent seen any that allow for the winch in the stock location, that still protects the rad.

I am also concerned about protecting the radiator on my 700 with something more than the little grill guard that comes stock. I have the Polaris brushguard and am looking at making something out of expanded metal that goes behind the brushguard in front of the stock radiator grill. I haven't figured out how to make something that will come on and off easily.

I put a Polaris brush gaurd on my Sportsman 700 a few weeks ago. It's the black one in Polaris's catalog that looks like a pick-up push bumper/grill gaurd. I've driven over tree's 2" in diameter and it protected the grill perfectly. Thickets have been no problem either. The 8" tree stump hiding in some weeds brought me to a sudden stop from 10mph. The large pipe that is just below the factory plastic bumper got bent real good but the grill and radiator survived with no damage. If I wouldn't have had the grill gaurd on things would have got expensive. Bottom line, the Brush Gaurd worked good and was well worth the money.

There is one problem with the Polaris brush gaurd. If you have a Warn of Montana Jack's Multi-Mount winch, the front receiver is right where largest cross pipe is on the brush gaurd. Since mine got bent I cut it out and moved it up to clear the winch.

I have thought about getting one as well. What's the going price for one? Does anyone have any pictures of their Sportsman 700 or 600 with the brush guard?

Thanks for the info. I priced a brush guard at the dealer. They gave me a price of 159.00 I am thinking about buying the moose super bumper and modifying it for my winch. A few cuts and a few welds I think I can make it work fine. I was just hoping someone had one already.

I just mounted a Warn 3.0 on my SP700. I made an "L" shaped plate and bolted it inside the bumper opening and also to the sides of the brushguard. It looks good, the roller fairlead sticks out about 1 inch past the front of the brushguard.

Take a look at THIS There are some pics there of the brushguard on a 700, along with a multi mount that I built. I believe Polaris sells them for $169.95
