Default Praire 650 Pipes

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for a pipe. I want to start GNCC racing this year. I also like to ride around my house. So I am looking for a pipe that doesnt make the quad alot louder.

Good performance and low noise: the Mike Penland Series Big Gun seems to be popular.

Does anyone know if the HMF are Forest Service approved or not? I sent them an email asking. Hopefully I will know for sure tomorrow.

The HMF pipe will be USFS approved IF the optional spark arrestor is installed. Otherwise, the answer is a big fat "NO".

Actually its a big fat NO anyway. I got my email back today from Kevin from HMF. He said their spark arrestors were made to USFS specs but are in the process of getting approval. He said hopefully by next month they can start putting the stamp on the pipe.

So, as of right now NO HMF pipe is USFS approved even with the spark arrestor. I have the email and can forward it to anyone who would like to read it.

I sure hope they come through for us. I would like to have one but I need it to have the approval too.
