Hey guys,
I currently ride an '84 Honda 200ES...Well its a great trike and has lots of power but because of where I live and the really steep terrain and slopes it can be dangerous at times, and will roll over (like yesterday...lol). I need to get a fourwheeler for 2 reasons: More power, and Greater stability. I am looking into the mid sized sport quads like the Warrior, 300EX, Mojave, Etc. And i'm just wondering wich of those 3 have the best: reliability record, handling, most "modifiable", most fun to ride, and the best bang for the buck. I'm just gathering the pros and cons of these quads and then I will make my decition. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

For very little more than thoes you can get a z-400.I bought my buddy one for $4900 brand new.otherwise I like the 300 ex I have one its bomb proof.I had a mojave when I was a kid its about just as good but it dosent have elec start.Hope this helps.....later

Thanks for your opinion. I'm looking into buying an inexspencive used quad so the Z400 is out of my budget. Thanks again, I'll keep what you said in mind.

Ahh,if thats the case they made mojaves since 86 I have seen these for around $1000 in good shape.I just picked up a 99 300 ex for my friends kid we paid $2500 its mint.they have made them since 93.Good luck in your search...later ps.the 300 should have more stuff available for hop up.

Yeah I understand what your saying. There is a '95 Kawasaki Mojave for 1500 in the ads of my paper. Seems like a good price...If only I had the money right now...Oh well, there will be many more low priced quads to come, hopefully a 300ex and hopefully I will have the money by then, lol. Thanks

Brother has a warrior...think has been like a tank for him and he climbs and trials it real well. I would look at one if you are budget oriented and a good deal comes along.

 

I believe you will find the Z-400 has the most "bang" for the buck. Honda 400EX's are realiable, and hop up stuff is EVERYWHERE. Good luck!
