Default guys, i need some quick help, im trying to install new ASR a-arms, quick question CASTOR... please help

for all those who have installed the ASR a-arms how the castor supposed to be adjustable, the only adjustment is that where the arm bolts up to the frame i could lengthen the front connection and not the rear this would increase the castor, is that the proper way, to have the joint that connects to the frame threaded out longer than where the rearward joint is set? im a bit confused but i hope my question is understandable, i understand the joint at the wheel should be used for camber adjustments, but some please explain the castor adjustment.
